Most Montgomery County plumbers won't give you a number until they're standing in your basement. We publish ours. Full scope breakdown, add-on menu, rebate math — all on this page.
Fixed prices work because we're clear about what they cover. If your home doesn't meet these ten items on our scope sheet, we'll tell you at consult and show you the add-on cost before anything is signed.
Montgomery County ZIPs 20814, 20817, 20850, 20852, 20853, 20854, 20874, 20876, 20877, 20878, 20879, 20902, 20906. Outside these? We can refer you to a trusted partner.
Fixed pricing covers gas-to-gas like-for-like replacements. Electric-to-gas, propane-to-gas, and oil-to-gas conversions are quoted separately due to added labor.
Tankless units draw significantly more gas than tanks. We verify meter size at consult. Undersized meter requires Washington Gas upgrade — $195 coordination fee.
Relocating the unit to a different wall/closet requires additional water/gas/vent runs. Flat $450 add for relocation within the same room; further moves quoted custom.
Standard tier covers up to 20 ft of concentric vent to exterior. Longer runs or interior chase routing priced at $8/ft after the 20-ft baseline.
Condensing tankless units need a standard 120V outlet for the fan/controls. Most homes have this. If a dedicated circuit is needed, flat $285 add.
Standard basement, garage, or utility closet. Crawl space access or attic installs add $295 flat for additional labor and materials.
Well-water homes require a pre-filter to protect the heat exchanger. Flat $195 add for sediment filter installation.
Homes built before 1980 may have abatement issues. We'll identify at consult; abatement work is not included and must be completed separately.
Free consult requires 45 minutes with whoever makes the purchase decision so we can lock in your final price on the spot — no callbacks needed.
We partner with Wisetack and GreenSky to offer homeowners financing options that make a tankless install cash-flow neutral from day one.
For Signature and Whole-Home Pro tiers, we also offer longer-term financing through GreenSky at competitive fixed APRs. Typical Signature tier financing works out to roughly $95–$130/mo on a 60-month term — less than most homeowners' current monthly standby-loss energy cost on an old tank.
We'll walk through all options at consult. Bring your most recent Washington Gas bill — we'll show you the exact breakeven point against your current spend.
